Enlarged liver
An enlarged liver (hepatomegaly) is a non-specific finding which has various causes. These include but are not limited to infection, tumors, metabolic disorders (commonly diabetes) and alcoholism. The presentation of an enlarged liver is due to vascular swelling of the liver and inflammation.Normal liver size in axial dimensions is 10-12cm(front to back) x 20-23cm.
