Andrei's Prenuvo Story
Andrei didn’t have any health concerns when he heard about Prenuvo, but was curious about the technology behind the scan and wanted to give it a try. When his results came back, they revealed that a fluid-filled cyst had developed on his spinal cord and he had a rare condition called syringomyelia. While advanced symptoms of the condition can be painful, Andrei was completely unaware that he had anything going on in his spine. He’s since reviewed his Prenuvo results with several neurologists and plans to keep an eye on his condition, getting repeat scans to see if things progress, in which he’d consider treatment like surgery.
The Prenuvo scan was comfortable, which Andrei appreciated, noting that as a tall individual, he typically feels claustrophobic in small spaces. He’s heard horror stories about other MRI experiences from friends and was a bit hesitant to climb into the machine for the hour-long full body scan. But immediately upon entering the room, Andrei felt comfortable. He found the Prenuvo MRI machine to be quite different from other MRIs, describing it as roomy and having good airflow. He also appreciated being able to zone out to music during the test. Andrei didn’t expect to find anything during his scan but is grateful to be aware of something that he didn’t know was going on in his body. He has since referred many friends to Prenuvo, noting that they are excited to check it out for themselves and plans to have a repeat scan of his own soon.
Thank you Andrei for sharing your Prenuvo story.
“I don't do so well in confined spaces - I don't enjoy it. But the experience itself was better than I would expect and I would do it again.”
