Neurocysticercosis
Neurocysticercosis is caused by a tapeworm infection acquired from pork which causes small egg like lesions in the brain.Neurocysticercosis is more common in lower socio-economic countries where sanitary conditions are inadequate. It is the most common cause of acquired epilepsy in the world.
