Cystocele
A cystocele can occur in females when the muscles and connective tissue between the bladder and vaginal wall become weak and stretched. This causes the bladder to then bulge into the vagina. It is often identified during a Papp test or during an exam when the bladder is full.Quite often the cystocele occurs with prolapsing of the urethra. Together this condition is called cystourethrocele.
