Cyst of the oral pharynx

Simple cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can form in any of the soft tissues of the neck. Simple cysts usually do not cause symptoms or harm the function of the tissue. Treatment is usually not needed for simple cysts that do not cause any symptoms, however dental work can limit visualization of the mouth as it distorts the imaged area, and thus the mouth is best assessed either by your doctor and/or visualized by your dentist.
