Duplex kidney
A duplex kidney is a normal finding that you are born with. It is where you have two separate collecting systems in a kidney instead of one and the drainage tube from the kidney (ureter) may also be partially or completeley duplicated. There is a slight increase in likelihood of kidney stones (best seen by ultrasound or CT), as well as reflux of urine from the bladder, back into the kidney.
Disclaimer: The condition listed on this page is an example of findings that may be identified through Prenuvo's MRI screenings.
